Category trends at KPI Portal

KPI Portal contains a large number of KPI’s. If organizations are interested in a KPI to measure a part of their strategy, KPI Portal can be a welcome source. All KPI’s are categorized against dimensions of the Balanced Scorecard and suitable business processes. This arrangement makes KPI’s easier to find, but has another possible advantage: the categories can be linked to the behavior of visitors.

From now on we will publish some metrics on a monthly basis. Within these metrics, visitor behavior will be linked to KPI-categories. For example, see the graph below. To avoid information overload we will not publish figures like the number of added KPI’s. The target is to show KPI’s that give visitors new insight in the subject of this website: making your organization more steerable. With regards to this focus, we think it’s interesting to know trends in the interest in KPI-dimensions and possible implications of these trends. Some examples: what KPI’s are visitors from all over the world most interested in and which factors are possibly causing these trends?

Most important for the success of KPI’s is the extent to which they meet the information need of the people using them. That’s why we are interested in comments and suggestions to improve the overview. What kind of figures are you interested in? Send an e-mail or leave a comment at the end of this page.
